Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (VA-10) released the following statement on the House passage of H.R. 515, the International Megan's Law to Prevent Child Exploitation and Other Sexual Crimes Through Advanced Notification of Traveling Sex Offenders:

"This bipartisan legislation that passed today will protect children worldwide from sexual predators who want to do them harm by better tracking the movements and travel of predators. This bill will get law enforcement on the federal and international levels talking to one another so that these predators do not slip through the cracks. I look forward to the President signing Megan's Law so that our children have an additional layer of security from predators."
